Use Zoom Lens for Macro photographic pictures

A zoom lens, or variable focal-length lens, encompasses a range of focal lengths within it. Typical zoom lenses ranges are 35–70, 70–200, and 200–400 mm. They are sometimes referred to by their zoom range—for example, a 70–210 mm lens is a 3× zoom.

Modern zooms now have ranges up to 10×, such as a 28–300 mm. Many zooms have a macro setting that offers magnification of 1/2× or even 1×, depending on the model, though the macro setting may only be possible at one particular focal length within the range.
